With over 16 years’ experience in brand management and consumer research Gerald has led a team of high performing youthful individuals in providing insights and strategic recommendations that have changed the way our clients have interacted with the consumer market.
As Founder and Managing Director of The Grass Company, Gerald was able to successfully take a business concept and transform it into a successful business that has worked with several key brands and organizations such as Safaricom, Nation Media Group, Britam, Kimberly Clarke, Old Mutual, Coca-Cola, Mavuno Church, DIAGEO, MTV Base, Nike Foundation and Nokia among others.
As head of Business Development and Strategy within the business; I have led my team in contributing to the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies for our business partners. These strategies have contributed significantly to the growth of their business and attainment of their business objectives.
With a passion for people development, I have worked and helped mentor individuals who have been able to proceed to set up successful businesses of their own.
For over 3 years, have been a facilitator and plenary speaker for the Man Enough Challenge which is an 8 week mentorship program for men.
Co-host to a weekly Television Show, “Bold Conversations”.
International travel; in representation of various business interests, countries of travel include Ethiopia, Uganda, Mauritius, USA, Namibia, Netherlands, Nigeria and South Africa.
